Innovation through the years
1926
Locking key
The locking key was invented by Karl Rudolf Dienes. The patent provided an innovative boost to the entire cutter construction, offering a faster adjustment of the cutter's width.
1977
Crush cut knife holder with heating device
The development of the heatable crush cut knife holder has significantly improved the cutting results for producing stickers or labels. A temperature of around 70 degrees Celsius prevents adhesive residues from remaining on the knife blades.

360-degree safety hand guard
With this individually adaptable development, DIENES has been able to significantly contribute to reducing the accident rate with cutting tools. The new safety element prevents blades from being grasped before or after the cutting process.

Knife holder with quick-change head
The DIENES quick-change head allows for fast and secure replacement of the knife holder head. This makes it possible to switch between crush cutting, razor cutting, and shear cutting in a very short time.

Dry-running screw compressor with pneumatically controlled safety valve
This patented screw compressor features a dry-running compressor unit with both a suction side and a discharge side, and it is also motor-driven. The butterfly valve and the relief valve are controlled separately in this compressor unit.
